Hi my name is Matthew Liberti. I need help. I live in Tallahassee Fl and I was born in Brandon Fl. I know my birth moms first name, and my birth father, but that's all I know.
I was born on June 24, 1993 and my mothers first name is Angela and my fathers first name is Jason. Someone please help me. I have mental issues and I need to know. Thank you...

No one can provide this to you because you are under age.
I'm sorry -
Speak to your adoptive parents and ask them. Aren't they aware of your mental issues?

What information were you able to get from your adoptive parents? I find it unusual that you were part of a closed adoption in 1993.
Have you registered on reunion websites? Have you contacted the adoption agency used to see if they have contact information left by either of your birthparents?

I already ask them and they said that adoption by choice in tampa fl is closed my birth mom wrote me and told me when I was about 2 that she wants to see me when I turn 18 but sents the adoption by choice is now closed I can't do anything like I said I was born in brandon fl and my mothers name is angela and birth father is jason I know my birth father was playing basketball when my mom called him and told him she is ready to have me and so he had to rush up there to the hospital but my birh mother's mother I guess it would be my grandmother she wanted to keep me and my mom was young and was trying to go through school and she didn't want me to grow up in her moms house she wanted to do it on her own so when she wrote me and told me it was hard for her to let me go but it didn't show an address because it had to go through adoption by choice and they marked it out I tried everything to find her I just wanted to tell her that I would really know if I have any brothers or sisters and to let her know how I have been and would like to be in her life its really hard for me right now I have bipolar and adhd and I have a 1 and half year old son and his name is cameron liberti

Wow - what a story. You have both so much... and so little info. Your mother was a very courageous woman, particularly at that time!
Have you tried posting the info you have on the various adoption sites in the hope that someone will read them and recognize the story? When you were adopted a new birth certificate would have been issued in your new name, so that's a dead end.
Your adoptive parents HAVE to have that info - closed adoption or not.
I really hate not to be able to give you good news but with only first names and a new birth certificate this is almost impossible.
You sound like a good guy who has his head on straight. I'm sorry I can't help. My only thought is the adoption sites.
If you want help, I'll look some up for you.

Adoption.com, adoption.org, and ISRR are the 3 best reunion sites out there. There are dozens of others, but those three are the big ones.
When I placed my daughter for adoption in 92, I wrote her a letter, and her family had my first name and age and medical history, but all contact was done through the adoption agency. If your adoption agency closed, there may not be any way to get information they would have had.
