I am a new homeowner, and this situation scares me. The faucet in my kitchen is not putting out any water pressure. It's a steady slow stream. It had been working fine until a week ago. I'm worried it might be a leak. All of the other faucets in the house are working fine. Any & ALL help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have you unscrewed the aerator from the spout and checked and cleaned the screens? Regards, tom

I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.
Could you elaborate. Thanks!

If you look at the faucet, you will see the bottom end of it, where the water comes out, is separate from the rest. It will unscrew. You may need a rag or some rubber to help your grip. Once off, take a close look at it so you can get it back together correctly. There maybe a little plastic plate on top with small holes in it. If they are clogged, clean them with a pin of small wire. Do the same with the screen at the very bottom and any other crud in it. Put it back together. It should be better.
Otherwise, you need to take the guts out of the faucet. Posting the brand and model will bring good instructions.
