I got married in India in December in the year 2011. I was in US the whole year of 2011 except for the 3 period weeks I was in India for my marriafe. My wife will come to US after our marriage before 31st Dec 2011. This will be her first trip to US. Can I file jointly even if she doesn't have any SSN or ITIN right now?

Also, if she comes after 31st December 2011 to United States.. can I still file jointly? If so, then how?
