The dreams are simply related to your hormone levels. There is nothing to worry about.

When I was pregnant with one of mine I dreamt that I delivered my baby, when I got to look at it, it was a monkey. Well, needless to say, I had a beautiful human baby.

Nightmares and strange dreams are connected with your hormone levels, that's all.

As J9 said, the hormones have a huge impact on every day life, INCLUDING your dreams. I have had some of the weirdest, silliest, most vivid and sometimes darn right terrifying dreams while I have been pregnant, with both my sons. I have found that I tend to have dreams about my hubby flirting/cheating on me whenever I am preggy. He is the most faithful and loving man in the world, and the dreams are completely unfounded. I think it is a mixture of the hormones, and the body image, that causes these dreams. You don't always feel sexy when pregnant. Of course, I also dreamed that I gave birth to my son in a huge grocery store and didn't even know it. I came out with a cart full of food, and no belly! I went back to find him contentedly playing in some spare tires. HAHAH. Don't pay these dreams any attention. If you talked to every woman ever pregnant, I think you would be hard pressed to find one that never had weird, or bad dreams of some sort. If it helps, you can talk to your baby's daddy about your dreams and worries. Congrats on the pregnancy and good luck

During most of my pregnancy, I was dreaming that my husband was "running around" on me. I used to wake up mad at him. I also dreamt that certain members of my family passed away and would wake up physically sobbing, it was the weirdest thing... but normal as far as I know. Don't think too much about it, just enjoy resting.

As the others said, hormones play a big part, when I had my first I dreamt that the baby was born the size of a toddler, fully clothed,LOL, I also dreamt that I therew the baby on the fire, needless to say none of these things happened and my baby is now 38 years old.
