Heat pump is new install. When flipped to cool it is blowing warm air. I followed the wiring schematic again, and everything seems to be fine. The only major thing I am unsure of is the thermostat (Honeywell FocusPro TH6000). It says it is for either Conventional or Heat Pump, but I am used to there being a switch or program button to choose which one. This one just has one wiring bar with the color code for conventional on top and heat pump on bottom. I feel it has something to do with the reversing valve but I just can't trace it out. Can anyone give advice?

Usually an orange wire for the reversing valve (outdoor unit to the t-stat). You can trace that out in the outdoor unit.

Sometimes programming the thermostat is the key. There is an option I thought on those Honeywells to energize reversing valve in heating or cooling

If I'm not mistaken goodman reversing valves energize in cooling

I would start with the stat. You will need to get hold of the install instructions for the stat. The honeywell pro 6000 is compatible with many different systems and needs to be programmed specifically for your type of system, and of course wired correctly. I do know that the pro 6000 comes factory set for convetional heat and cool systems, so it will definitely have to be programmed for heat pump set up.

The Stat was the issue. Had to look up on honeywell's web site. The instructions for programming the unit did not come in the pack. Thanks
