Does anyone happen to know what was the name of the movie about a boy who moves in an old two-story house, where he is able to time travel through the colored glass of the garden's door. This way he meets a girl who grew up in the house and at the end turns up to be the old lady who lives in the upper floor. Somehow their time-perception is different and, each time he visits her, many years pass by in her reality. For her, he is the same boy, but she 'grows up' each time he visits her.

At some point, there's something about a pair of skates which belong to the girl in the past. Another clue: the girl writes him a letter in the past, which he will find in the present, hidden in a specific place.

The movie is from the 90s as far as I can remember, or even earlier... And my guess is, it's a television film (not released on DVD).

I didn't know it was a movie but it sounds like Tom's Midnight Garden... excellent book which Google says is in fact a movie. Hmmm...
