Hello, I'm 19 years old and I am currently using the Evra contraceptive patch. Today while taking off my jeans , the patch pulled off as well. Straight away I placed it back on( the same spot), pressed on it to make sure it would still stick and it does. I haven't had sex yet even though I'm using it but plan to for the first time this week. I'm very scared as I don't know if I will still be fully protected! Please tell me if I am or not.

Having it off that quick won't affect the effectiveness of the patch. But I do want you to remember that no form of birth control is 100% effective so it would be best to use a second or third form of contraception when you do have sex.
