View Full Version : What does it mean to dream about both my dead dogs?

I had a dream last night and at first everything was calm outside and it was just my parents and me. And my black lab and my pug(that are still alive in real life) were in the house with us. After awhile we noticed all the wildlife outside going crazy. The bees were outside, the humming birds were going crazy. And it also looked like there was a storm coming. We were sitting at the kitchen table and my dad said something like "The dead is coming" and I said "what are you talking about?" And as I said that I noticed my dog Missy laying down on the porch where she always used to stay when she went outside and she was just looking in, and I got kind of scared but happy at the same time. She passed away in November 2009. I wasn't sure to go outside or not but then I noticed Barney(my bassett hound) was also on the front porch with her. He passed away in December 2004 the day we moved. I went to go greet them and they were both happy as was I to see them.

But Missy and Barney when they were living they had puppies and I got to keep one, and I named him Snoopy he got hit by a car back in 2003 I believe, and he got hit by a car. And I just thought it was weird that Missy and Barney were in my dream and Snoopy wasn't?

If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it. It has been on my mind since I woke up.

All dreams tend to be weird. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that you remember two dogs so well, including the date they died, but you don't remember much about the other dog.

Your mind can search for alternate happy endings in a dream and they are always strange. Your first two dogs seemed to pass naturally but Snoopy's death was tragic and maybe your mind will leave that for another dream someday.
