I am trying to hook up a ceiling fan with a 3 way switch that will control the fan and light independently while I would like the light to still be controlled by the 3 way on the other side of the room. That switch is just on or off switch. My problem is the new switch with the dual controls has in its box a 14/2 coming in as the power feed and then it has two 14/3 wires coming into the same box one going to the fan/light and the other to the other 3 way on the other side of the room. How does it get hooked up.. Help!
