Hi,I have a HILUX 1RZ 2003 Model.I hit another car three months back.The damage wasn't that much.after the hit it started to cut or jet and I just thought it was temporary but it proved me wrong it went worse until it completely switched itself off while idling.I replaced HT Leads and it was perfectly fine for three after I traveled for about 130 kilometers.From there I replaced the distributor and it kicked marvelously for another three (3) days around almost exact 130 kilometers and it started again.As I speak it does not start.What could be the major problem here?It started after the Impact and when I replace either HT Leads,Distributor Cap,rotery it becomes fine for few days and then it goes down again.Help help please...

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Check for codes.

. Verify that the Check Engine Light comes on and goes off normally, when the ignition switch is turned to ON.

. Install a genuine Toyota coil.

Aftermarket electrical components can present problems on Toyotas; e.g. coils, distributors, and starters.
