Hi nevaeshsmom25,
One thing to make sure of is that you are taking in a good deal of fluids each day. Even when not pregnant, low fluid intake can result in a drop in blood pressure, which is a common cause for the dizziness and fainting. Since it is common for blood pressure to be low in pregnancy, increased fluid intake is even more important.
The fluid intake is also important to help with uterine contractions. Your uterus will contract more if you are a bit dehydrated. This may be the cause of your cramping.
Do you notice the dizziness more so when you change position? Such as when you get up, or turn your head to the side? Be sure to slowly change from one position to another as sometimes just that simple act can also cause a drop in blood pressure.
Also, be sure not to restrict your salt intake. Although too much is not healthy, you actually need a bit more sodium in pregnancy and too much restriction can effect blood pressure as well. Ask your doctor about drinking something like Gatoraide for a few days for the fluid and sodium increase, and see if you notice a difference.
If you continue to have discomforts, contact your doctor again.
