So this may not seem completely wise but I'm going to ask anyway...
Within this year (possibly within a few months) I will be opening a used car dealership. I have the knowledge for this but what I am lacking is the knowledge in keeping books for such a business... payments, credits, taxes, that sort of thing.
I know others have started businesses without accounting knowledge so it must be possible somehow. Maybe not the smartest thing to do but I'm going forward anyway.
How should I handle this? Is it possible to hire a "part time" accountant? Are there some basic classes that I could take? Any guidance would be appreciated.
