After my husbands death I found emails from his friend ordering him to divorce me and split the joint tenancy on our property. This friend was present when my husband went to solicitors to make a will making his friend the main beneficiary a couple of weeks before he died. My Husband had Terminal Cancer. This friend had access to our online accounts and my husbands bank cards. Money was taken from the accounts when my husband was in hospital in the Terminal phase before his death. This friend stole thousands of pounds worth of photography equipment from our home in the final hours before my husband died. Money was taken from the accounts after he died. The friend proclaimed to be power of attorney and executor of the estate (but he was none). The police took his word for this. 37 emails prove his undue influence, fraud (writing emails to solicitors/executors pretending to be my husband) while my husband was ill in hospital with no access to the internet. The executors are solicitors who have no qualifications in contentious probate law. They did not seek medical advice to determine my husbands mental capacity when he was dying and wrote the will. Nor did they tell my husband that social services warned them that a female friend of my husband had previous allegations made about her with other vulnerable people. She is the 2nd main beneficiary. All our family videos were stolen too when my husband was dying in my arms on his death bed. My solicitors have written to the executors several times asking them to answer questions regarding the writing of the will and the above, but they just ignore the letters. Meanwhile, my solicitors keep putting caveats in probate. This has put a terrible strain on children and myself, not to mention a huge ongoing expense. I am also a Cancer victim currently in remission and all this stress worries me. My husbands estate is half the house our home. What can I do about this I am at the end of my tether! PLEASE HELP!
