I was up for removal but didn't leave the country and am here under a different name. I get a summons, in my real name from my child's mom for court to establish paternity and garner child support, what's the best thing for me to do? If I don't show up for court there will be a warrant put out for my arrest, but if I do I'm thinking they'll discover the immigration issue. Plus I can't say I'm working because its under a different name but can't say I'm not working because the child's mom knows where I work? What's the best step here? I can't afford to hire an attorney either.
