I went into my grauge a few nights ago and seen this dark mass it was huge and had no features it was clear that it was buff and had a face but no features... I went up stairs and seen the same thing standing next to my bed watching my husband... and seen it again while I was walking on my treadmill it was standing maybe five feet from me staring at me... when we moved into this house it was eerie at first but I got over it in our cellar and our other bedroom we think people might have messed with things they shouldn't have.. what I do about this thing? It frightens me and I know I'm not crazy because shadows don't stand in the middle of the floor upright... also what is it?

You might be on to something. Playing in the occult is one of the biggest causes for a haunting. If the previous occupants of the home did mess around with something like that, they may have left a spiritual hot spot behind. There are other reasons however and it may have nothing to do with the occult.

Despite the reason it is there, it is a demonic spirit. Forget what you see in the movies, demonic spirits are more subtle than Hollywood makes them seem. But I'm sure a shadow making itself known is still unsettling. Are you and your husband religious?

hauntinghelper is right, you have a demonic spirit in your house. So you know, their main purpose is to stir up fear and lead humans down the path that ends in destruction. The only true way to get rid of a demon is to call on God, but I don't know if you're religious or anything. In any case, I'd suggest getting ahold of a pastor from a local church or a Christian demonologist to cast entity out.
