I am a grandmother of a four year old and I been wanting to see my granddaughter every since she was 2 months old. Well a year ago she goes get a DNA test and it is my son. I have asked her to get the test when she was 2 months old. Now my son is incarcerated and she is out here doing a lot of stuff going to jail, she as a rap sheet so long I got tired of hearing about this and my granddaughter stay with any and everybody. The mother is gay and neither one of them work. Well I went to see a lawyer about the problem and he said I have a good case. Well I pay him in full. Now grandparents do not have rights in the state of Bristol, VA we went in front of a Junville judge and she order us to take parent classes, they said before the next court day. Well to make it short I went to take mind and went to court and she did not. The judge gave her custody and said it is up to the mother weather she wants me to have visitation with my granddaughter. My point is why would the judge do this I should had gotten visits or something because I follow court orders. Well I appeal this and we went in front of a higher judge I did get visits with the mother being there, today on March 24 was mine first visit from 2-4 p.m she did not show up I call the police and showed them my court order and they say it is nothing they can do about this it is a civil matter. I am going to call my lawyer Monday but what should I do if they do not do nothing about her following the order that she agree too?

You go back to the court and have her cited for contempt of court.
