Do I have rights on probation? Can the police just surge the house? Can I win this ammunition case?

You are on probation, they have the right to search your house... if you were caught with ammunition in your possession (yes in your house counts as your posession), the odds of winning it are exctremely remote. What did your lawyer tell you?

If you are on probation, and the police come with the Probation officer or under orders from the Probation officer, they do not need a warrant and may search your house at any time.

You have to get the charges over with, and the probation over with before you even think about expunge, That is for 5 to 7 years down the road after all of your sentence is over.

And yes be scared, I have a close family member that was on probation, ** OK he was a drug dealer and was a real criminal** but they never could catch him on the drugs.

Well in one search , they found a old rusted single shot shotgun that was most likely 50 years old, it was rusted shut and was just a wall decoration, I don't think it even had a firing pin. Guess what, they turned it over to the Feds, and he is now serving 10 years in Federal Prison.

So hire the best attorney you can get.

Can my wife or father inlaw take the blame for this?

Yes and NO, they can confess and say they did it, but it really does not matter, if it was in your home then you had access to it, and thus possession under the way most laws are written.

You will need Father in Law to appear at your probation hearing, but most likely someone turned you in, they don't normally search unless they think they will find something.
