I bought this Yard Mach. Mower used last year--it ran great all season and I occasionally went to the shed and started it through out the off season. Last time I started it I checked the oil, put a little extra gas in it (it was low) and started it up.
It ran well for about 2 min then started to bogg down, blowing out billows of smoke, would clear up and the run for a second or two and then bogg down again. I shut it down and checked everything I could. I left it alone for a day or two and went baqck to retry it---all the gas had drained down into the oil and sme had also run out the exhaust system as far as the muffler which is dripping oily residue on the shed floor.

What happened? Is it fixable or am I out an engine? I found a 20 hp B & S for sale, will I be able to swap them out or are they too different?
