My kitchen sprayer tap quit rotating, it is a single lever tap with the sprayer part that pulls out.The water comes out fine but the base won't turn anymore. It is only a year old.Is it repairable?

It was bought at costco in canada and is a WaterRidge-Alpha Brushed Nickel item # 609040, the water sprayer, hot/cold lever work great, but the base of the tap itself that normally swivels left and right over double sinks, is stuck in position and won't budge over my left sink.

You're talking about the spout. Correct? Had the same problem with my sink faucet.
What's happening here is that the "O" rings have got dry and have swelled a bit. The solution would be to purchase a small can of Silicon Jel. Remove the handle and retaining bonnet above the spout, Pull the spout up and out. Now iube the inside of the spout wall and the "O" rings. Reassemble and test. Better now? Good luck, Tom

Thanks so much for your help.I also ended up finding out that my entire under sink was plumbed wrong so I had to replace all drain pipes and just replaced the tap itself.

I have the same problem & called the Costco support line 1 866 789 2273. Apparently there is a manufacture issue with them & Costco will replace it. I was told to go online to their website & select a replacement faucet. I presume they do not have this model available any longer.
