Hello all, I was looking at a house with a rheem water heater with a sn of RN0593115904, I'm guessing that means that is was made in the 5th week of 1993. Is that correct?

Hi jedddelucia and Welcome to The Plumbing Page. At AskMeHelpDesk.com. You're responding to a 2 year old dead thread so I gave you one of your own. Look in then upper left hand corner of the first post form the date before you post, Thanks,

I'm guessing that means that is was made in the 5th week of 1993. Is that correct? Close! It goes like this. Serial number, then the month and then the year. Good luck, Tom
