Well I have liked this guy for like a year now and he showed signs of hiself likein me even my friends noticed him staring and the eye contact... all his friends look at me and show a big interest in me and then this new guy came and he became friends with him and now he doesn't even stare anymore its like he ignores me when the other guy is around but when he's on his own he stares well glances and I donno what to think please help me out ask me questions anything?!


Also whenever I talk to him he goes blank... For example I asked him a yes or no question and he stood there blank just staring into my eyes and then eventually said a quick no and stormed off.

I see him watching me and when I am dancing with my friends he will dance towards me.

His friends are really weird around me.

He is really nerious like when I call his name he wips his head round very quickly.now I donno because he now is ignoring me and pretending am not even there mostly with his friend he'll be talking to his friend when he walks by me and when on his own he glances.Its as if when this new guy that is now friends with this him is now taking his mind off things I donno?


Now that new guy is gone... he started taking lots of interest in me again... I am in classes and he walks by the door and just gives me a hard long look... he pauses in him conversations when I look at him in the eyes.

I was in the lunch hall and I was talking to my friend and I could see him... his full body turned towards me and just gazing.

The last thing that happened was... I was walking up the stairs and he came rushin down them... I bumped into him and he stopped me tracked... Instead of looking me in the eyes he focused on the paper I was holding?

Its just confusing can you help with this situation?

It sounds like he does like you but he doesn't want his friends knowing it. I had this same situation in 7th grade with a girl that eventually moved away. He sounds like if you start a friendly conversation with him, he will likely get excited you are talking to him and continue the conversation.

Did you mean to write 'CAN glance and lock eyes with me when we're not?'
This is really very common. You don't say how old you both are or what country, but still, it's often a sign that he is afraid that he will either blurt out something he regrets (like I love you), or he has a very strict and religious family, or he is afraid he might get turned on, especially if you wear revealing tops. Or a combination of those.
Say hi and smile for a week or so while passing by. That will give him courage. Let it happen slowly. Then say hi and pause a bit to see if he stops too. Say something short and not personal about the weather or school. Next time, ask him a question about how he likes something, also impersonal, like music or movies. And so on!

He knows that 17 is very young for his 30 and that it could mean trouble with family, and even the law. Of course it sounds like he is also shy, and has a crush on you. So just be kind and friendly and see how it progresses, but be aware that your family may have a fit if you get involved with each other. And I take it you know nothing about him, is he married, is he living with someone, what his past is, and so on. Make sure you learn before getting serious.

Your ages are a very important detail, as a 30 year old guy may be more than shy around a 17 years old. He could lose his freedom, job, or reputation.
