Newspaer in los angeles to publish a change of name

The Los Angeles Times would be a good place... BUT... why do you feel the need to publish the name change in a local newspaper?

It has to be the paper that is approved by your specific court to do legal notification. You would need to post if you were unable to locate the other parent and was doing legal notification. Of course you had to do all the required searches for the other party
