My boyfriend was taken to court last year by his ex for his 6 year old daughter. Somehow my boyfriend had lost the final custody but had gotten weekend access to his daughter. On top of that the ex also got a restraining order on him so he could not contact her - as you can tell it would be hard to pick up his daughter on weekends. Now me and my boyfriend have been to the court ordered meet up and drop off spot but his ex never shows and the police won't help. Now she's harassing us telling us it's our fault we never seen his daughter and her new husband is going to attempt to adopt his daughter. There's numerous reasons that little girl should be with her father how can we get her back who can we talk to for help?

Your BF needs to take her back to court for violating the order. He needed to do so as soon as she violated the provisions of the order. If his ex has an attorney to represent her interest, he needs one as well. He also needs to document his attempts to comply with the order. You need to keep in mind that you do not have legal standing here, and should not be involved other than in a support role (research, help, moral support etc.)

Unless the mother is unfit, he is not going to take custody away. Perhaps joint custody but he will need an attorney to do this in cout.

But he has to take her back to court for failure to follow court order ( if the court order gives a place to meet) if not, it needs to, such as police station or fire house.
