Here are the wires that are coming from the hvac unit
R -red
G -green
O -white
C - yellow

Red is 24 volts... it should go to rc on t stat White is for heat only should go to w. Green is fan control should go to g. Yellow is for cooling and should go to y.

No go I switched it to that setup and I have warm air coming out. Can't tell if it is heat because I am in phoenix so it is warm outside today.
