Hi,
I'm a graduate student from Taiwan. I checked on IRS web site. I'm very sure that I become a resident alien in 2011 (more than 5 years F1). I have W2 and 1042S for my 2011 taxable income. I don't know how to report W2 and 1042S together on form 1040?

Depending upon type of 1042S income, you will report it on form 1040. If it is income as employee, add with W-2 income.

Thanks MukatA,

My 1042S is from my scholarship (code 15). My wife's Visa is F2 (she needs a ITIN), and we have 2 kids (They were born in the US). Can I use 1040A and also file W7 to get my wife's ITIN?

In your case scholarship is not taxable so you do not report it. Complete your tax return and attach W-7 for your spouse and mail it to ITIN processing center.
