There is an old movie I saw when I was a kid. I'm pretty sure It had an alien probe that fell to earth and landed in a junkyard. It built a body from the junk and started going on a killing spree. I can't remember the name of the movie.

There is starkid, which is a biotic body crashlanding in a junkyard and has to protect the earth from a monster who is on a killing spree. Probably a different movie, but its still awesome.
