Went off depo provira shot after being on for 2 yrs had first period on feb 27 which ended mar 8 we are trying to havea baby how long will it take for that to happen?

Unfortunately there is no way to know. It may happen fairly quickly or it may take quite some time. Many women find that it can take awhile before periods resume a regular pattern and fertility returns. This can be well over a year for some women. It is very individual.

Best to focus on taking caring of yourself and preparing for eventual pregnancy by making any lifestyle changes that you know would be healthy. This would be wise for both you and your partner. Starting a prenatal vitamin or a good multivitamin would be a good idea as well.

Do what you can to try and determine when you are most likely to be ovulating. This can be difficult if you end up not having regular periods at first however. See how it goes over the next several months.
