I was convicted in one state, and live in another on the border and have been told I can't go home with out an investigation from the interstate contract and if I get caught living at my house and not the state I was convicted in, that I will be denied living in my home state. Does this mean forever or just while I'm on my one year parole?

Actually if you get caught, most likely you will be violated and arrested. But while on probation, you can not travel out of state ( or move) without permission.

Yes, I just found that our from a lawyer. My PO never told me that, only that I would not be allowed to live in my home state if I were found there. I'm living out at a private lake at a cabin I own, with no transportation, just 4 miles from the border. Makes perfect sense that I am better suited out here, than in the city, at my home, working. This system is so jacked.
