View Full Version : Bisexual Boyfriend

I'm a straight girl and last year I dated a great guy, who was bisexual. This never caused a problem for us because neither one of us wanted a serious relationship (I'm a big flirt). So cheating or any of the usual concerns were never a problem. However we broke up after dating for 5months because I was going to be overseas for 1/2 a year and we'd said we'd see about our relationship when I came back.

I've been back for about a month and a half now, we made out, after we had been drinking the first weekend I was back, but just left it at that. Then 3 weeks ago I told him that I still really liked him and I would like to get back together with him. He said sorry but he wanted a stable relationship with a guy. I told him I understood and that I was okay with us just being friends (we were good friends before we ever dated).
The next weekend he told one of our mutual friends that he just didn't know what to do with me because he still liked me but he didn't think I really wanted to be with him and that he should just let me find a better guy. Then this weekend he told me best friend that he was still really attracted to me but he wanted a relationship with a guy.

Whenever we've been together since I've been back he always puts his arm around me if we're sitting down no matter who we're hanging out with and he gets jealous if any of his friends hits on me. I'm trying to be just friends since that's what he told ME but I want to get back together with him. I understand him wanting to be with guys and I would still be cool with that even if we were in a relationship.

Any advice?

Follow your heart.

Make a decision based on what will make you happy.

Good Luck!

There is no relationship here. He's always going to do other things. You best bet is to move forward. He sounds like he has a lot of dependency issues.

Hey, I think you'll really suffer if you get back together with him. If you start falling for him big time and he starts sleeping around (with boys or girls, makes no difference) that will hurt. On th other hand if you are not looking for a stable "normal" relationship then this could be ideal cause you would also have your freedom to flirt etc.
