I have had a upper front crown that my dentist wanted to take out over 15 months ago, but I thought I knew better moved to another one who patched it up. Which seemed to do the trick apart from his manner dentist from hell, so I knew I wasn.t going back to him so plodded on it lasted about 6 months then broke of leaving the root. My son was in the army so we were attending a family day so I had to try & get the tooth back in I tried everything myself to stick it back in but no luck. I ended up going to an emergency dentist who did another root canal filling & my tooth was back. He told me it would only last a couple of days because the root was rotten & to find a dentist to remove the tooth as soon as. I haven't had any trouble so I have left it but I have now attended the doctor 3 times had three blood tests done, because I have developed pain in the top of my head & in my right temple they thought it could have been a blood clot, but tests came back okay. So I still have this nagging problem which is taking over my life & making me feel naf.

So why have you not had the tooth pulled after being told you have to?
