I live in a apt in nyc on ground floor. Building was build in 1929 I'd like to respond to all who respond to this. Landlord refuses to find leak but will be forced soon. It going on since aug 2011

Did you have the vent snaked and cleared as suggested in a earlier thread? Let me know. Tom
