Yesterday I dye my hair and the colour is not like what I wanted.. So today I want dye the colour that I want.. Can I do that?

I tried coloring my hair 2 consecutive days and my hair went fine. But it depends on the type of hair coloring I guess. My hair color was not harsh even if it's cheap but the color is great and long-lasting. I died my hair copper blond one day and copper brown the next day because the blond looked like rust on my hair.
