View Full Version : Tax Meanings, Workcover In Australia? Reconciliations? Report for Overview Expenses

I work for a company that installs aircons for commerial buildings.I am using MYOB and NAB australia as our bank.

Questions I have:
1# we have 2 accounts with NAB. A main account and account 2. In the Payroll process we give a guy Child care entitalments of $300.00 a fortnight. This is recorded in MYOB fortnightly in MYOB when the payroll is processed. But I have been advised to transfer $300 from the main account to acct 2 in NAB by the 7th of every month... I am unsure of this process... As the pays come out of the main account every fortnight also?


2# - What are the workcover processors in accounting? For QLD australia?

3# Please give me an overview of why we do reconciliations what are they for? How to idenify what I need to fix etc.

4# I need to create a report to calualate what we need to make monthly to get by... What categories need to be included?

5# for QLD Australia what do each taxes mean? GST etc? I need to know when to use them and what for?
