How about a fifteen year old? Does anyone know anything about that?
I live with my step-father and mother, and he threatens to kick me out all the time. Which is ironic because I'm one of the most low-maintenance teenagers I know- I sit on my computer practically 24/7, avoiding him.

I'm looking for evidence that he can't legally kick me out, even though he rents our apartment. More irony, actually, since he lived as a free-loader with my mom for seven years before getting a job and helping with rent...

Right now if he actually did try to kick me out (which would be pretty impossible with my mom here), I'd call my dad. Also the police. I figure, legal or not, the who 'moral' thing looks much better for me then him, as a teenager saying "Police, my step-father just kicked me out" is quite a bit more innocent then a man protesting a step-daughter being at the house. Not to mention the emotionally abusing part, but I'll save my sob story for later.

First, its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. So I've moved your question to it's own thread.

No, A parent is responsible for a child. Even if your step-father is the only one signed on the lease, if he tries kicking you out, call the police and family services.
