Dear Sir/Madam,

We got married around 2 years. We never used any medicine to protect pregnancy since 20 months, during intercourse we ejected at outside and made half sex. But from last 4 months we are trying to take baby and she does not conceive.

Please suggest to get pregnancy and confirm whether is there any serious issues.

Regards
Deep

Hi deepsundar,

Since it has only been four months that you have been actually trying to conceive, it may just be a matter of needing more time. Most couples will become pregnant within the first year of actively trying... some will find it takes a bit longer. Her doctor would usually not be concerned until there has not been success after a year.

I know it is difficult to not have it happen quickly, but try not to worry about there being any serious issues at this point.

Has she been able to determine when she might be ovulating? A place to start would be about 12-16 days before she would expect the next period. There are a few ways to get an idea of when ovulation might be occurring. If you can have sex every other day or so, throughout each cycle for example, that may help as well with timing.
