My husband cheated on me before and after our marriage. I live in south korea and he lives in US. I let him chose who he wanted to be with but he choses me and went down all the way to korea and marry me. But even after we get married they are still communicating and chatting with her ex-gf even while I am sleeping. They plan to see each other and my husband even ask her to move next to his apartment. I was so upset that I coudlnt do anything just togo there since he just applied for my immigrant visa which is on the process. On the other hand, some military friends I had in states wanted me to apply a tourist visa so I can stay there with them instead of going to my husband. What shall I do? He is serving the US country as a US Military Service. And they say if I am a military Spouse it won't take too long for the visa to gets approved since they prioritize men in service.I am so confused and so hurt that both of them treated me like a garbage. Help! I'm confused...

It is very hurtful to know that he is actively involved with another woman.

I take it that you are now thinking over your plans to move to the US to start a life with this man. You have much to think about, and sort through, before you do.

He cheated before, and after, you married him, and he still sounds like he's cheating- or at least you have very good reason to be suspicious.

If things were, or had, worked out and you were sure of him, and your marriage and future together, then the idea of a visitors visa to be with him while you wait for residency, sounds like a good idea. But, if you want to go to the US and become a citizen, and not remain with this man, there are immigration matters to consider here as well.

I am not an expert in immigration, however, should you come to the US, and not remain married for a certain period, the marriage itself may be questioned as being just a marriage of convenience to get citizenship.

If you decide to go, you'll have to be certain that it is for all the right reasons. I'm not so sure I'd trust this man enough to turn my life upside down for him.
