I own a Corp. That had a sheriff's dept. In Kentucky purshace a couple products they contacted myself about in early 2011. There was a dispute over one of the products on the brand mid 2011. These were planned to be drop shipped to the dept. Until they let us know the one item would be refused. We do no advertising in KY nor any business in the last 10 years except for this sale. We're 3 states away. My question is the Deputy decided to file a criminal suit with class D felony against myself $30,000 cash only bond for myself the Persident of the company. Under the Jeter case or any way I see this it's civil at most? I have attorney's here and now one in Kentucky but I want other opinions. U.S. Marshal's arrested me right out of the blue. (NEVER BEEN ARRESTED FOR ANYTHING) Spent a night in our jail here to everyone's amazement because we couldn't access $30,000 at 11:00 at night. Bonded out the next day and I'm pissed! Nice as I can put it. Is this even legal? Where do I stand on a abuse of power case? File it here?

You file a law suit against the department for abuse of power.
What was the actual charge they used
