I got caught shoplifting a week ago. it was merchandise for $95.00 and police took me to jail. I got out paying a bail. It's first time ofense and won't ever do it again. I have court tomorrow I already have a lawyer. I feel so bad. I am having my citizenship interview in about two weeks. I am afraid they denied my application... What should I do or say to the immigration officer. Please help

There is little you can say to Immigration - you were shoplifting, you were arrested, you are out on bail.

Your Attorney is the person to be giving you advice on this problem. This has to be handled "delicately," or you will be out of the Country.
