I just took a home pregnancy test because my breasts have been very tender lately. I've also been feeling queezy and taking naps during the day. My period is irregular so it's so hard to go by that. I've been going through a lot of changes in my life so I'm also stressed so it is hard to tell if I am moody or not? I've also been stuffing myself with food, so much to were I feel sick. But will do it again in an hour or so. My uriating is a lot like it was when I was pregnant with my daughter, I will tackle someone for the bathroom and if someone's already in there I would rather go in a pale before I'd have to wait. I've been urinating a lot more frequently too. Some smells are unbareable to me, but I don't know if this is my imagination. My pregnancy test was a little hard to read, unlike the one I took while pregnant with my daughter, there is one very dark line and another really faint line, so hard to see you'd almost have to squint to see it. I just want any advice or input I can get because the wait is aganising! I just have to know something. Please help.

I woork in a lab. If the line is dark, faint, barely there it is a positive! If it is faint just means your hcg levels are nor as high and your not very far along

Well the second line is like barely noticeable, sometimes when I'm looking at it I think I'm only imagining that I am seeing it that's how light it is. What should I do? Maybe try taking it in the morning? Or in a week or so? There is two lines. Just the one is very very VERY light.

Hi MoneyRene,

Did you read the result in the time stated on the test? If so, you are likely pregnant even with a faint line. However, since it is somewhat inconclusive, it would be best to test again.

Taking the test in the morning is preferred if not thought to be very far along as hcg levels would usually be more concentrated at that time. Some women, who are farther along, will get accurate results when they test at anytime as hcg levels would already be much higher.

Since you are experiencing other possible symptoms, take another test soon. Be sure to follow the directions carefully.

Your symptoms could have course be many things and it is impossible to tell. You can try another test now or wait a week and try again. Make sure you use the first urine of the morning and read the test in the time frame given in the instructions.

Thanks everyone, I will try again in a few days in the a.m. I have a two year old and I am still young so I hope this is all in my head. But if it isn't I will still be grateful and make the best out of the situation! But if I am not I am scared to what might be wrong with me. But thanks again!
