I have had the mirena iud since I had my daughter back in April lately I have been gaining weight, feeling very sick, not able to eat foods I normally love to eat, very sleepy all the time all the symptoms of pregnancy but I took a pregnancy test and it was negative is there any way I could still be pregnant even though the pregnancy test was negative and I am on the mirena?

Yes, pregnancy is possible. It could be that it's too early to test.

Wait until your next period is due. If you miss it then try testing again, or go to your doctor for a more accurate blood test.

It does happen that women can have back to back pregnancies without ever having a period in between. Pregnancy with the mirena also happens.

The thing is, you ovulate before you menstruate. So a pregnancy without actually missing a period, because you're on birth control or recently gave birth, is very possible.

There's really no way for anyone online to tell you what's going on. You really do need to see your doctor.

I wish you all the best.

I had to have my mirena taken out due to a bad car accident, I was told it is possibul to become pregnant. But the tests won't read due to the loss of hormone levels

Are you trying to answer the question, or are you asking one of your own? It's not really clear.

If you're asking a question then please start your own thread. It's not a good idea to ask your questions on someone else's question. This thread is about the original poster, and people will come back to answer her, not you.

But I'm not really clear if you're asking or trying to answer, although what your statement has to do with the OP (original poster) I really don't know.
