My furnace runs the entire time the breaker is switched on, no matter what the temp is set too, and regardless of the position of the fan switch(on or auto). At first, we replaced the original thermostat(trane baystat 329) with a Hunter 44132, and that did not solve our problem.. We're at our wit's end, and can't really afford to call a repairman to fix the issue for us, so any and all help will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance

I could tell you that you might have a bad sequenser, but I won`t. I could tell you that you might have a bad fan control, but I won`t. Why ,because I don`t know what kind of furnace you have,is it gas heat? Is it electric heat? Is it oil furnace? Help us to help you with more info
I will tell you its possible that piece of junk Hunter tstat is a strong possibility, if its not to late take it back, trade for a honeywell and even ifs not what's wrong years down the road you will be glad you changed tstats
No I don`t work for honeywell I`ve just got many years of replacing the Hunter junk
