Your friend isn't a friend because they are trying to steal from you through a commonly used scam. Have you ever met this friend, or are they a friend from the internet?

No this is not a friend, it is a scam artist, there is no money needed to board the air plane, if they had a passport and visa they just get on the air plane.

This is a common and well known scam. Normally they want the money sent Western Union since normally they are not even in the county they claim to be in and can get the money anywhere in the world.j

This person is trying to steal your money.
