I am in H1B Visa,I got married in the Feb 2011. My Husband was working in UAE when we got married.My Husband got his H4 visa in April 2011 and he had visited me for a short duration of 20 days on the month of May and went back to UAE. Then in the month of August 2011 he left his work from UAE went back to India and then came to United States permanently.

Now when he came in August he joined school for graduate program, he was on h4 visa till December 2011. Now from January 2012 he is converted his visa to F1-student visa.

My question to you is .
How can I File my taxes?

You can file as married filing jointly or married filing separately. On joint return your husband must also report worldwide income for the year. If he paid taxes in foreign country, he can file Form 1116 (Foreign tax credit).
