My girl walked out a week ago because she was fed up with her boring life with me! At the time I was upset & also angered. I now after a week of no contact with her & plenty of time to evaluate the situation I realise that she was right. I smoke cannabis & it has been ruling my life for years. I have my first session of hypnotherapy tomorrow to help me stop smoking everything but a big part of me so wishes that she was still around to hopefully be a part of my new drug free life. I just don't think I have done this soon enough to make a difference to our parting. This has been a really good relationship(with a couple of hiccups along the way)no cheating or violence from either party at any time. Thanks all constructive help welcomed.

It sounds like you need to take care of you first... Kick the drug habit... Let her go for right now. When you get things under control it will start to change for you... When you start to kick your habit start to pick up new hobbies that you like to do... so that way if she comes back... because if she really did love you she will... she will be able to see the change in you "actions speak louder then words" Not only will she be able to see it she will be able to feel it as well... and that is what you want... you want her to have those feelings for you... also show her that you do not need her by your side to change. I know you would like to have her there but she wanted to be there and she was but you chose other habits... Hang in there kick the habit and then see what the result can bring...
