Assalaamualaikum !
I am Mohammed Bin Abdur Rahman I am from Hyderabad , India & presently working in Saudi Arab.We all Indian celebrate Independence day every Year because 15th Aug is coming during Ramadan so we are arranging Iftar on that day for all peoples in our Camp. When 15th Aug was not in Ramadan we were arranging Iftar in Camp & when 15th Aug is there we are celebrating that also , but some peoples are telling don't arrange Iftar on 15th Aug because celebrating 15th Aug is not permitted in Islam. Arrange Iftar on other Day. And for Celebrating Independence Day Hindus are also contributing money. We clearly told them that 15th Aug is in the month of Ramadan so we have to arrange Iftar we can't arrange Lunch. Alhamdulliaha all Hindus agree with this decision and happily contributed and celebrated our Independence Day. We brought Chicken and Rice for Iftar but some peoples told that Hindus are also contributed money and with this money we can't buy any non veg because it is Haram. I said If any Hindu cut Chicken , Sheep or Cow then that meat we can't eat but if you buy meat from Muslim shop with Hindu money it is not Haraam. I kindly request you t o please give me this answer as soon as possible.
