Hello, I have a credit card that went to collections awhile ago, that I have avoided paying and I am just wondreing if the creditor is able to garnish the money that I put into my checking account, without my concent or knowledge. Please help for everyday I am terrified that I will go to the bank and the little money that I have in there will be gone.

Yes, the money in your account is at risk. If the creditor can find it, he can attach it.

If the creditors can find your account , they can get a judgement and proceed to freeze your account you should maybe try to work something out or talk to an attorney about bankruptcy if you can not pay This will not go away you will have to deal with this sooner or later
