Is it hard to become an obstetrician ? What kind of training will I need? What classes should I take in high school that will help me reach my goal? I have been birthing animals since I was a little girl and I want to enjoy human birth as much as I do animal births.

Hi autumn19,

You can expect a great deal of schooling ahead, but it would be well worth it! Work towards being strong in the sciences when in high school. You would work towards becoming a medical doctor then specialize in obstetrics.
