The house is in Southern California @2500 sf, built in 1970, with aluminum wire. The 125amp main contains two 50 240 volt and two 30a, ten 20a, three 15a breakers. I turned almost every thing on without the 50amp ac running, I had an 81 amp reading. So is there any hope of getting a 60 amp spa included in the existing 125 amp panel? I would still have to use the thin breakers on the 20amp to make room. What's the ballpark price for upgrading the panel to 200amp.
