I have a 93 toyota camry we have bought new terminals for the battery we have tried to jump it and we had the battery tested and they said it's a good battery. This isn't the first time we have had trouble starting it but usually when we do these things it will run again. What else could be wrong with it and how do we fix it.

Personally, I would remove and fully charge the battery, which most auto parts stores will do for free. Stop charging when the ammeter cuts back to between 1 and 2 amps. Many battery tests leave a lot to be desired and are unreliable. After that, clean the battery terminals and cable connections. Examine the battery cables for hidden corrosion. You especially want to clean the ground (-) cable, where it attaches to the body. Ditto for cleaning the connections to the starter motor and solenoid.

Does the engine turn over but not start? Are you getting spark, etc?
What are the symptoms?

The neutral safety switches were common on these older Camrys. Jiggle shift lever in neutral ever so slightly while holding key to start. Let us know how that works.

Thanks for getting back to us. You're welcome.
Don't prolong replacing that neutral switch. In time it'll give out.
