My 91 accord will not turn over and none of the lights come on... I just bought a new battery because yesterday it would not turn over but the lights and the radio came on.So I put the battery in and was driving it all day with no problem then at like midnight I stopped for food and turned the car off and it did not start when I turned the key.The brake lights are the only lights that come on. I checked the connection and even tried to get a jump and nothing happened no lights or anything please help me...

. Remove and fully charge your new battery and have your alternator tested. Most auto parts stores will do this for free. Clean cable connections and examine cables for hidden corrosion. Particularly clean the ground (negative) battery cable, where it attaches to the body of the car.

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Clean starter motor connections.

. Check/replace the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting, if the problem persists.
